The purpose of Lake Martin Baptist Church, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, is to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8.
Objectives:

To be a dynamic Spiritual body empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ with as many people as possible in our church, community, and throughout the world.

To be a worshiping fellowship, experiencing an awareness of God, recognizing his person, and responding in obedience to His leadership.

To experience an increasingly meaningful fellowship with God and fellow believers.

To help people experience a growing knowledge of God by involving them in dynamic Spirit-led worship and systematic Bible study.

To be a church whose purpose is to be Christ-like in our daily living by emphasizing total commitment to the Lordship of Christ.

To lead people to a saving faith in Jesus Christ and help them grow in Christian maturity.
