SALVATION:
I received Jesus Christ as my Savior on March 23, 1975. Before that time my life was one of sin characterized by a lack of fulfillment. Realizing that God was calling me from sin and spiritual darkness, I opened my heart to God's invitation to His mercy and fellowship. Jesus came into my life, cleansed me of my sin, and established His Lordship in my life. Through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, I am a new creation born again in Christ.

CALL TO MINISTRY:
In July of 1978, I was called to the Gospel ministry. After three summers of pioneer mission work in New York and Ohio, I carried a tremendous burden for the lost. God called me into the ministry and opened a door of service at Columbia Road Baptist Church in North Olmsted, Ohio.

THE BIBLE:
I believe that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, wholly without error as originally given by God, and is sufficient as our infallible rule of faith and practice. I deny that any other books are inspired by God in the same way as the Bible.

GOD:
I believe in the one and true living God. He is infinite, eternal, unchangeable, and is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is the head of the Godhead. Into His hands the kingdom shall be delivered. Jesus Christ was born of the Virgin Mary, as God in the flesh. He died on the cross to redeem sinful man, rose from the dead to justify the believer, and ascended to the right hand of God to intercede for us. The Holy Spirit is the resident guide, teacher, and strengthener of the believer. He is sent from God to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

SALVATION:
I believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior from sin. All men are under condemnation through personal sin. Escape only comes through the righteousness of Jesus Christ. This righteousness is imputed to the believer by grace through faith.
